ABOUT · CAPABILITIES
Capability built on continuous reinvestment.
CPI (KL) is committed to reinvesting in our technology and in our personnel’s capabilities to cater to our customers’ increasing needs.
01 / CAPABILITIES
01
Injection moulding
We run a wide range of injection moulding machines, from 50 to 420 tonnes, spanning fully hydraulic, hybrid, and fully electric platforms. Each is paired with a pick-and-place robot for improved productivity and consistent quality.
Experienced with a wide range of plastic resins: AS, ABS, PBT, PC, PC/ABS, PMMA, PS, Nylon, elastomers, and various additives & fillers.
02
Secondary processing
Beyond plastic injection moulding, we further customise products to the desired finishing: robotic spray painting, silk-screen printing, hot-stamping, pad-printing, ultrasonic welding, laser marking, and assembly services.
03
Automation
Beyond pick-and-place robots, we’ve invested in 6-axis robotic arms for complex manufacturing tasks, and introduced cavity separation automation for key clients to improve processing capabilities.
Our in-house automation team develops bespoke solutions to meet customers’ stringent needs.
04
Tooling
A wide range of tooling equipment on site aids in producing accurate precision tools, including CNC milling and EDM machines capable of servicing with copper and carbon inserts.
Building tools in-house means design-for-manufacture feedback happens in days, not weeks, and mould maintenance never leaves our floor.
02 / QUALITY
Certified to the standard that matters.
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 — Certificate MY99/16858/MY, issued by SGS United Kingdom Ltd, Systems & Services Certification.

03 / BUSINESS PROCESS
Seven steps, one standard of precision.
Every part we deliver follows the same disciplined workflow — from the first customer enquiry through mass production, quality assurance, and final delivery.
Step 1
Business Development & Customer Service
Respond to customers' requests for new project development, analyse product specifications, generate quotations, and negotiate terms and conditions.
Step 2
Production Trial
Manufacture of precision mould, trial production start, inspection of parts, and part approval from the customer.
Step 3
Mass Production
Production for the customer commences, with the product following the part approval agreed with the customer.
Step 4
Quality Assurance
100% visual screening for appearance, in-process sampling for dimension, troubleshooting and machine adjustment, and rework or sorting of affected parts.
Step 5
Packaging & Storage
Parts produced are carefully packed into pre-agreed packing methods, then stored pending delivery.
Step 6
Outgoing Inspection
Critical finished goods are inspected according to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level); rejected parts are quarantined.
Step 7
Customer Delivery
Delivery of quality products according to the customer's schedule.
